Abstract
Lope was a fourteen years old boy who lived with his mother in a village near a forest. His father died when he was twelve and since then he had been working hard to help his mother. One evening, Lope was working in their garden as his mother ordered, when an old woman greeted him. The old woman invited Lope to come along to her house for she has plenty of seeds and money to offer to help Lope and his mother. Lope followed the old woman whom he thought would give him plenty of seeds and money for his mother, but the old woman was a witch who tried to end the life of Lope, but Lope managed to escape from the old witch with the help of a huge snake.
