CAMBIO DEL NOMBRE DEL BARRIO CUTING, POZORRUBIO, PANGASINÁN El CLERK DE AcT AS, leyendo : SENATE .BILL NO. 234 [lntroduced by Senator Osiae] This measure is presented in compliance with the wishes of the inhabitants of the barrio of Cuting and the people of Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, of which this barrio is a part. The name proposed is in honor of Don Benito Magno, as a token of gratitude on the part of the inhabitants of the municipality which he hoped established. (Sgd.) CA.MILO ÚSIAS · Senator for the Second District AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE CHANGE OF THE NAME OF THE BARRIO OF CUTING, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF POZORRUBIO, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, TO DON BENITO, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. [Presenta.do por el RepfelleiJtante Moleoeo] Los antiguos pueblos de Antique y Guintas que ahora forman parte de la cabecera de San José, provincia de Antique, como sus arrabales, han estado urgiendo su separación de este óltimo municipio porque la distancia de dichos arrabales a la población de San José, en donde tiene su asiento el gob~erno municipal, es enorme.. Dichos arrabales tienen ingresos suficientes para formar un nuevo municipio . y su organización daría lugar a que se atiendan mejor sus necesidades. En cambio, permaneciendo como tales, apenas reciben la porción suficiente de los fondos municipales para_ promover su adelanto y mejoramiento. El orden público sufre igualmente por 1a falta de vigilancia necesaria de parte de los agentes de autoridad a causa de la gran extensión que ahora comprende el municipio de San José. La separación de dichos arrabales y su organización en un nuevo municipio están recomendadas por la Junta Provincial de Antique. Por estas consideraciones, se presenta el adjunto proyecto de ley. Moscoso Representante por Antique LEY AUMENTANDO A CATORCE EL NúMERO DE MUNICIPIOS DE LA PROVINCIA DE ANTIQUE MEDIANTE LA ORGANIZACIÓN DE LOS ARRABALES DE ANTIQUE Y QUINTAS DE LA CABECERA DE SAN JOS!!:, EN UN NUEVO MUNICIPIO. Por la presente se segregan de la jurisdicción del municipio de San José sus arrabales de Antique y Guintas, los cuales .formarán un nuevo municipio cuya extensión territorial comprenderá toda la jurisdicción que le correspondía antes de su fusión al municipio de San José. El nuevo municipio asf creado se denominará General Fullon, y el asiento del gobierno municipal estará en la población del arrabal de Antique. ·
