October 6, 1965 The Publications Officer, College of Forestry, University of the Philippines, Laguna, Philippines Dear Sir, In 1965 the Australian National University took over the functions of the Australian Forestry School which provided the national centre for higher forestry education. A Department of Forestry in the Faculty of Science of the Australian National University has now been established for this purpose. At present we are in the process of forming a library and are seeking publications dealing with Forestry and related subjects. We would be most grateful if we could be placed on your exchange mailing lists. As we are a new Department in the Faculty of Science of the Australian National University we have not, as yet, published material available. It is hoped that exchange publications will be available in the very near future. If you are agreeable to the above suggestions I should be pleased to received your advice so that I can place you on our mailing list. • Dean Gregorio Zamuco College of Forestry Yours faithfully, • P. In addition to this I would also wish to inquire if it is possible to obtain money for the expenses for shipping my books and notes specially related to my field of studies. I would appreciate it very much if you could inform me on the proper procedures in applying; for the above financial aids from U.P.
