Greenan of the Board of Consulting Engineers returned to Manila on March 25, after an inspection trip of several months to the Netherlands East Indies·. The pictures shown on these pages were taken by Mr. &'reenan in various parts of that interesting country. L. W. Buchanan, Charles H. Mcilvaine, and H. T. Merrill left Manila on April 18 for Borneo and Sumatra, where they will carry out exploration and prospecting plans outlined by Mr. Greenan.
