l\1ARS1\'IAN PROTEG E WINS HONORS Jones R. Castro, pensionado sent from the Philippines to the Colorado School of Mines by Mr. Marsman, was one of three seniors to win a place on the Dean's Honor Roll for the first semester of the school year 1937-1938, it was recently announced. He was the only Filipino of the 30 students from the Islands at the school who won this much-coveted honor. To be eligible for the Dean's Honor Roll a student must carry a E. E. Elser, Inc. minimum of 45 hours and m u s t maintain an "A" average in his courses with no grade lower than a "B" and no incomplete work. Castro carried 48 hours. Castro w i I l be graduated in May, 1938, thereby finishing the four-year course in three years.
