ITOGON TREATS 28,913 TONS FOR f->343,290.85 DURING MARCH During March, the Itogon plant treated 28,913 tons of ore from which P343,2!:>0.85 was recovered. Average recovery amounted to Pll.87 per ton and extraction was 84.96%. Total production was approximately P31,000.0J higher than that of the previous month. The total development advance for March was 4.839 feet. Capital development tota11ed -2,484 of which 593 f ect were in ore. Operating development amounted to 2,355 feet with 1,089 in ore. Satisfactory results were obtained in the 23 drift west, 550 foot level Sesame, and 23 drift east, 350 foot level. Also, the 23 drift east, 450 foot level gave better than average value. During the month of April, drifting will be started on the 252 vein to the Balatoc endline. Work has been started on the 16 crosscut north SW foot level, with the view of the intercepting the 23 and 31 veins which should be cut sometime in April. The concreting of the Taka shaft from the 300 to the 200 foot levels is progressing satisfactorily. Operations in the mill were normal, the only major repair being a new belt on the No. 2 conveyor. SUYOC CONSOLIDATED RECOVERY REMAINS NORMAL FOR MARCH The March production of Suyoc Consolidated was P138,044.89, from the treatment of 6,569 tons of ore. The recovery per ton was P21.0l, while extraction was 86.53%. :i The total development during the tµonth was 2,132 feet. Of the 1,328 feet of capital development, 346 were in 9re, as were 51 of the 813 feet of operating development. -I The 2201 north drift advanced 133 feet during the month in andesite with gypsum, while drift 2201 south and 2215 crosscut east advanced 24 and 45 feet in agglomerate. An advance of 69 feet was made in crosscut 2001 north. 1860-A raise and 1862-B raise, which were started during the month on the 18162 vein and 1862-A raise continued in better tha~ average grade ore. The 18162 south advanced 46 feet in ore while the 18 62 north advanced 33 feet. Mine and ~-ill operations for March were normal, the mill operating steadily and ef ficie tly. I. BECK, INC.
