UNITED PARACALE MINING co. Gold production at United Paracale for April was P254,762.74, from the treatment of 9,488 tons, an average recovery of P26.85 per ton. Extraction was 91.32 7o. Development footage amounted to 1,095, of which 704 feet were capital and 391 feet operating advance. Of the capital advance 114 feet were in ore, as were 70 feet of the operating development. The 26 Drifts North and South, MacDonald Zero level, were started from 25 Drift South and advanced 39 feet and 44 feet respectively in low grade gold ore, but copper and silver values make this milling grade ore. The 152 Drift North, Longos 150 level, was advanced 30 feet along the vein 3 feet wide assaying better than average. The 201 Drift North, Longos 200 level, was advanced 4 feet, and the 201 Drift South, was advanced 22 feet along the vein 6 feet wide in slightly above average ore. The 301 Drift North, Longos 300 level, was advanced 62 feet along the vein 6.5 feet wide in ore above average grade. The 1 South Crosscut East, MacDonald Zero level, was started and advanced 65 feet to prospect the 26 Drift North Vein. The Malaguit Crosscut West, Malaguit Zero level, was advanced 140 feet. The San Antonio Countershaft, San Antonio 200 level, was sunk 18 feet, to a total depth of 21 feet below the level. The Longos Shaft No. 3, Longos 400 level, was sunk 5 feet, to a total depth of 20 feet. The San Antonio Countershaft station, San Antonio 200 level, is completed. The Longos Shaft No. 3 shaft station, Longos 400 level, is almost completed. North Camarines Gold Mining Co. No ·capital development work was done during the nionth. Stoping is being carried on on 471 South Stope, Syn4~ ITOGON MINING COMPANY Production for April at Itogon totalled P428,454.58, from the treatment of 26,394 tons. Average recovery was P16.23, while extraction was 88.17%. Development footage amounted to 4,867, of which 2,628 feet were in capital and 2,239 feet in operating. Of the capital advance, 654 feet were in ore, as were 408 feet of the operating development. Total drifting on the Sesame 23 Vein on 7 levels amounted to 441 feet, of which 277 were in ore of average grade. On the Gilkison Split drifting totalled 58 feet, of which 6 were in ore of higher than average grade. The 45 Crosscut South on the 875 level was advanced 111 feet. Drifting on 31 Vein on 4 levels amounted to 215 feet, of which 112 were in ore assaying slightly above average. Drifting on the Taka on 10 levels totalled 580 feet, of which 167 feet were in ore of slightly above average grade, over a 5-foot width. A total advance of 275 feet was made on the Itoe Vein, 144 feet being in ore above average grade. The 300 level 21 Drift East was advanced 59 feet in ore higher than average over a 4-foot width, while the Drift West advanced 41 feet, of which 20 were in ore of less than average value. All departments functioned normally during the month, carrying on routine work. dicato level 87. Tons of ore milled for the month totalled 277.8. General The No. 3 ball mill was placed in operation the latter part of April. The clearing of the right-of-way of the Malaguit Road extension is completed, while the grading and grubbing is over half finished. The installation of the 500-H.P.
