UNITED PARACALE MINING COMPANY Gold production at United Paracale amounted to P272,927.03 for the month of May, from the treatment of 10,902 tons, an average recovery of P25.03 per ton. Extraction was 91.28 ';'~. Development footage amounted to 1,193, of which 590 feet were in capital and 603 feet in operating. Of the capital advance, 25 feet were in ore, as were 122 feet of the operating advance. The 26 Drift North, MacDonald Zero Level, was advanced 90 feet along the vein 1.7 feet wide, whi1e the 26 Drift South was advanced 95 feet along the Yein 2.2 feet wide, both in ore. The 201 Drift South, Longos 200 Level, was advanced 25 feet along the vein 5.6 feet wide assaying average ore. The 127 North Crosscut West was advanced 27 feet in average ore. The San Antonio Countershaft, San Antonio 200 Level, was sunk 75 feet, to a total depth of 96 feet below the level. The Longos Shaft No. 3 Station, Longos 400 Level, is completed. The Longos Shaft No. 3 Sump Station, Longos 400 Level, was started and completed. North Camarines-United Paracale The total development advance during the month amounted to 228.5 feet, of which 179 feet were in capital development. The 478 Drift North, Syndicato Level 87, was started and advanced 76.5 feet along the vein 2.9 feet wide. The 478 Drift South was advanced 94.5 feet along the vein 2.3 feet wide in high grade ore. General All construction connected with the 2 ITOGON MINING COMPANY May production at Itogon was P445,781.54, from the treatment of 27,757 tons, an average recovery of P16.06. Extraction was 88.15 'lr. Total development footage was 5, 17 4, of which 2,977 feet were in capital and 2,197 feet in operating advance. Of the capital advance, 732 feet were in ore, as were 382 feet of the operating development. On the Sesame 23 Vein total drifting amounted to 450 feet, of which 181 feet were in ore of slightly less than average grade. Drifting on 5 levels of the 31 Vein totalled 235 feet, 123 of which were in ore. Total drifting on the Sesame Vein amounted to 362 feet, 82 of which were in ore; 9,938.3 tons of ore of average grade were produced from this vein during the month. The 23 Winze was sunk 33 feet and is now down to the 1100 level. On the Taka Vein total drifting on 11 levels amounted to 439 feet, 111 feet being in ore. During May, 2,475 tons of ore slightly above average grade were produced from the Itoe Vein. Total drifting amounted to 285 feet, of which 235 feet were in ore. Operations of the various departments were normal during the month. new No. 3 mill unit was completed during May, and this unit is operating satisfactorily. All other departments functioned normally during the month. A new set of liners was put in the No. 1 Mill. Operations in the other departments and labor turnover were normal.
