WITH THE MARSMAN MEN Two newcomers to the Philippines and the Marsman Staff are Edwin J. Carlson and L. E. Caldwell. Mr. Carlson is now at Suyoc as a mine shifter. His home is in Astoria, Oregon, and he is a graduate of Oregon State College. Six years of mine experience were gained by Mr. Carlson at the Braden Copper Mines in Rancogua, Chile. In addition, he has spent considerable time with the Hecla Mines in Northern Idaho and Western United States. Mr. Caldwell is at United Paracale as a mil1 shifter. His home is Ohio. Barr, graduate of Kemper Military School, who has now begun training in the United States with Goodman Mfg. Co., in Chicago. He is later to train with Cleveland Tractor Co., Cleveland; the Cameron Pump Division of Ingersoll-Rand Co., New York; and Eimco Corp., Salt Lake City, preparatory to his return to the Philippines to join l\farsman Trading Corporation.
