- The respondents filed a petition for certiorari and exclusion in the trial court of Sta. Cruz, Laguna against the petitioner Hon. Marciano Roque for the issuance of the writ of preliminary injunction restraining the respondents from carrying out the order of closure of a cockpit known as “Bagong Sabungan”. The respondents filed a motion for reconsideration, which was denied by Judge Yatco.
