The party I attended was held in connection with a barrio fiesta. The guests were entertained with the continuous serving of food. A very heavy luncheon was served. It consisted of many kinds of beef and pork dishes. It lacked vegetables because the hostess thought that they had no place in a party. Shortly after we had left the table, we were offered ice cream.
