FOURTH ANNUAL SPORTS WEEKEND AT PARACALE IS GREAT SUCCESS The Fourth Annual' Sports Weekend at Paracale (sponsored by Marsman Trading Corporation) held May 24-26 was an outstanding success. A number of Manila mining and machinery executives went to Camarines Norte for the occasion, while the Paracale-Mambulao mining community turned out en masse for the various events. The main object of the week-end is the renewing of acquaintanceships between the various organizations, and this year's affair will long be remembered. The Manila invaders were not very successful in their sports ventures, most of the events being won by the Paracal'e or Mambulao athletes. A summary of events: GOLF: Paracale won this event, 181/ 2 to 1/ 2 (the half-point being won by C. White of Standard Vacuum Oil Co. who managed to halve his match). TENNIS : Messrs. Rachmil and Schnitzler of Paracale trimmed Messrs. Dunn and Stone of Manila in two straight sets. In the second match Messrs. Herdman and Hirst of Manila won from Keesey and Mittel'staedt of Paracale. The third match was won decisively by Paracale, Winiker and PAINTS, VARNISHES, ENAMELS, WATERPROOFING PREPARATIONS, TECHNICAL PAINTS To Protect ...
